The Global Challenge is more than just a trip; it’s a challenge for you to change your life, and make a difference in your world. You’ll learn about yourself and develop a global perspective about what it’s like to be a girl in another country. And the best part? You’ll travel with a team of girls just like you to a country overseas to volunteer with organizations that work with women and children.

Our Global Trips visit a variety of different locations around the world. We team up with organizations and global workers who work with women and children, and participate in the work they are doing to make a difference.

 

2013 Destinations are Senegal, Romania, and India.

 

Trips last between 10 and 20 days, and cost between $2500 and $4000, depending on the location.

 

Cost covers pre-trip challenges, training, flight, meals, activities and in-country transportation.

Applicants must be:
• female
• between the ages of 13 and 18 at time of application
• in good health
• committed to completing all steps of the program
• willing to comply with Tattered Tiaras global trip guidelines

• legally able to travel outside Canada

• able to save or raise all funds required
